New Music: Sevyn Streeter - 'Say It (Tory Lanez Remix)'

  /  09.22.2015

Over the weekend, Sevyn Streeter set herself a challenge—”I fux with Tory Lanez ‘say it’ record. Might need to flip it and give the female response,” she tweeted. Now, it looks like she’s followed through. The R&B siren does her thing over Lanez’ beat, itself a remix of Brownstone’s classic “If You Love Me.”

“We could vibe, when I got time,” she croons, working out the delicate early stages of a relationship. “If you really want it, you gotta take the time to figure out, it don’t come easy.”

In July, Sevyn released her project Shoulda Been There, Pt. 1 featuring B.o.B and Hit-Boy. A video for the Hit-Boy-assisted “Boomerang” will debut later this week.
