New Music: Isaiah Rashad - 'Nelly'

Hot on the heels of Jay Rock’s album 90059, his TDE labelmate Isaiah Rashad has dropped off a mellow new song called “Nelly.” Produced by Antydote, Jowin, and Chris Calor, the beat delivers subdued keys over shuffling drums. The atmosphere is right for Rashad to go in about his struggle and accomplishments.

“Back when my brother sold crack and my sister was a real one,” he spits, adding that he “always was a real one.”

Rashad recently tweeted that he finished his next project—this may be our first taste.
