New Music: Funkadelic feat. Kendrick Lamar - 'Ain't That Funkin' Kinda Hard On You? (Remix)'

We want the funk. Kendrick Lamar joins George Clinton’s band Funkadelic on the Louie Vega remix to “Ain’t That Funkin’ Kinda Hard On You?” off the funk pioneer’s remix EP. Over the bouncy, horn-heavy beat, the Compton kingpin delivers a spastic verse: “See a 9-to-5 was so jive turkey, but when Thanksgiving came, that check didn’t hurt me.”

This is not their first collaboration. George Clinton also guests on “Wesley’s Theory” off Kendrick’s chart-topping album To Pimp a Butterfly.
