Just when you thought it was over, the shots keep coming. During Saturday’s Landmark Music Festival in Washington, D.C., Drake got on stage and once again addressed his feud with Meek Mill.
At one point during his set, the crowd chanted “Fuck Meek Mill!”
Drake heard their chants and responded, “Don’t worry, he’s dead already,” and the audience erupted in cheers.
In an interview with The FADER, he opened about Meek’s ill-conceived plan of attack. “Nobody told you that this was a bad idea, to engage in this and not have something?” he said. “It was weighing heavy on me. I didn’t get it. I didn’t get how there was no strategy on the opposite end. I just didn’t understand. I didn’t understand it because that’s just not how we operate.”
Drizzy also performed his Meek diss “Back to Back” during Saturday’s show, but this time, he was accompanied by a sign language translator.
