The Weeknd Performs 'The Hills' on BBC Live Lounge

  /  09.30.2015

While promoting his album overseas, The Weeknd stopped by BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge for a stirring rendition of his smash hit “The Hills.” He sang over tender guitar strums and not much else, adding dramatic harmonies and vocal flourishes to the massive hook, and even showed off his French. The song remains at No. 1 on the Hot 100 for the second week in a row.

In case there was any doubt about how hot the song is right now, The Weeknd got a sign. “a fire alarm went off right before live lounge started, ” he tweeted.

He will return to the U.S. to kick off “The Madness Fall Tour” on Nov. 3 with supporting acts Travi$ Scott, Banks, and Halsey.
