Fetty Wap Debuts at No. 1 on Albums Chart

Fetty Wap is on top. After owning the summer with his hits “Trap Queen” and “My Way,” the New Jersey rapper takes the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 with his debut album.

The self-titled set sold 129,000 album equivalent units (75,000 in pure album sales) in its first week, according to Billboard. He becomes the first rapper since A$AP Rocky (2013’s Long.Live.A$AP) to reach No. 1 with a studio debut.

Fetty knocked off Drake and Future, whose joint mixtape What a Time to Be Alive slides to No. 2 in its second week with 107,000 units.

Elsewhere in the top 10, The Weeknd’s Beauty Behind the Madness falls 3-5 with 81,000 units, while Disclosure enters at No. 9 with the duo’s sophomore album Caracal (35,000 units).
