Mariah Carey Returns to New York for Christmas Concerts

  /  10.09.2015

It’s not Christmas without Mariah Carey. The pop diva will return to New York’s Beacon Theatre to spread some holiday cheer and tunes during her second annual “All I Want for Christmas Is You” concert series.

Her run of holiday-themed shows kicks off Dec. 8, with additional performances scheduled for Dec. 9, 14, 15, and 17. Mariah will perform songs from her iconic Christmas catalogue, which includes 1994’s Merry Christmas and 2010’s Merry Christmas II You.

“SO excited to celebrate Christmas with ‪#‎NYC‬ at @BeaconTheatre,” tweeted Mariah.

Ever since releasing her 1994 Christmas classic “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” which has sold 14 million copies, Mariah has become a yuletide powerhouse, sharing her own arrangements of songs like “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)” and “O Holy Night.”

Pre-sale tickets for Chase cardmembers begins Oct. 12 at 12 p.m. EST, followed by the public on sale on Oct. 17 at 10 a.m. EST.

Mariah is currently directing her first Christmas movie called A Christmas Melody. She will also appear in the film, which is scheduled to premiere Dec. 19 on the Hallmark Channel.
