The Weeknd and Nicki Minaj Perform 'The Hills' on 'SNL'

  /  10.11.2015

The Weeknd was the musical guest on “SNL” this weekend. After performing “Love Me Harder” with Ariana Grande last year, the Canadian crooner returned to 30 Rock, this time to perform his own hit singles. Following an introduction from host Amy Schumer, he launched into “The Hills,” which is currently the No. 1 single in the country.

And for the first time, he was joined by Nicki Minaj, who appears on one of two remixes, which debuted just minutes before the show went live. Wearing a skintight Balmain dress that showcased her curves, Nicki appeared midway through the set to spit her bossy verse before The Weeknd serenaded her in Amharic.

For his second performance of the evening, a solo Abel lit up the stage with his other chart-topper, “Can’t Feel My Face” against the glow of neon pink lights.

And Nicki—iPhone in hand—made a return appearance during the closing credits alongside The Weeknd and Schumer.
