R. Kelly Reveals 'The Buffet' Cover, Tracklisting

R. Kelly is serving The Buffet this holiday season. The R&B icon will release his 13th studio album on Dec. 11, and has revealed the cover art and tracklisting.

In addition to his summer jam “Backyard Party” and “Switch Up” featuring Lil Wayne and Jeremih, the 13 tracks boast appearances from Jhené Aiko, Ty Dolla $ign, Juicy J, and Tinashe. The deluxe edition adds five tracks including the WizKid-assisted “I Just Want to Thank You.”

He recorded 462 songs for the project, which caters to his diverse fanbase. “You got hip-hop, you got old school music with the ‘Step in the Name of Love’ type music, ‘Happy People’ type of music, then you have traditional R. Kelly sensuous, sexual music,” he said of the follow-up to 2013’s Black Panties.

The Buffet will be available for pre-order on Nov. 13. Fans who pre-purchase the album will receive instant downloads of “Backyard Party,” “Switch Up,” “Wake Up Everybody,” and “Marching Band.”
