In honor of the 25th anniversary of their debut People’s Instinctive Travels and the Paths of Rhythm, A Tribe Called Quest reunited on television for the first time in 15 years for a performance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” Backed by The Roots, Q-Tip, Phife Dawg, and Ali Shaheed Muhammad had the crowd on its feet as they performed their ’90s classic “Can I Kick It?”

J. Cole remixed the song for a 25th anniversary reissue of Tribe’s album, which also features contributions from CeeLo Green and Pharrell Williams.

Watch Tribe’s triumphant return to the stage.
