This Thanksgiving, Lil Wayne is giving his fans the gift of free music. The highly-anticipated sequel to 2009’s No Ceilings is finally here, and it doesn’t disappoint.
After leaking tracks every half hour or so earlier today, we got a pretty good idea of how Weezy is attacking these tracks. In rap circles, No Ceilings is considered Wayne’s best mixtape since Dedication 2 and he’s lived up to the hype. Here, Tune remixes Bryson Tiller’s “Don’t,” 2 Chainz’ “Lil B***h,” Drake’s “Hotline Bling,” 2 Milly’s “Milly Rock,” and tons more songs dominating the airwaves this year.
Weezy serves up a 24-track feast, with a guest list including Future, Yo Gotti, Curren$y, Mannie Fresh, King Los, and more.
Although his frustration levels must be at the tipping point for the release of Tha Carter V, at least he’s using that energy to put out more music for his fans. Now that’s something we can all be thankful for.
