New Music: Skillz - '2015 Rap Up'

  /  12.31.2015

As we say goodbye to 2015, Skillz looks back on the past 12 months in hip-hop and pop culture as part of his annual “Rap Up.” Over the five-minute track, the Virginia rapper reflects on the highs and lows of the year, starting with Steve Harvey’s Miss Universe flub. He goes on to rap about everything from Zayn’s departure from One Direction, Black Lives Matter, Caitlyn Jenner, Donald Trump’s run for president, Saint West, hoverboards, and Drake vs. Meek Mill.

“I remember when them two dudes was friends / Drake got ’em with the bars, but the memes did him in / You can’t win on the Internet and that’s the facts / After that, the whole world was singing ‘Back to Back,'” he raps.

Take a trip down memory lane with Skillz.
