Kanye West and Miley Cyrus

New Music: Kanye West feat. Miley Cyrus & Travis Scott - 'Black Skinhead (Remix)'

  /  01.21.2016

Over two years after the song was recorded, Miley Cyrus’ remix to Kanye West’s “Black Skinhead” has finally surfaced.

You may recall that Miley and Kanye hit the studio following her controversial 2013 VMA performance and recorded the song off Yeezus. Kanye switches up the beat, but keeps the same lyrics, Miley sings a sample of Tears for Fears’ “Everybody Wants to Rule the World,” and Travis ad libs.

“Kanye is the shit,” Cyrus told Rolling Stone in a 2013 interview. “I kind of have a good relationship with him now. It’s good to have someone you can call and be like, ‘Yo, do you think I should wear this?’ ‘Do you think I should go in the studio with this guy?’ ‘Do you think this is cool?’ That’s what homies are supposed to do.”

The track was rumored to appear on a “Black Skinhead” remix EP, but it never saw the light of day.
