Pharrell Reacquires Billionaire Boys Club/Ice Cream

  /  01.21.2016

Pharrell Williams is taking back his company. The hip-hop mogul and his partners have reacquired Iconix’s stake in BBC Ice Cream, LLC, owner of his Billionaire Boys Club and Ice Cream brands.

He decided to repurchase full control of the New York-based apparel brands in order to continue their expansion, growth, and licensing opportunities.

Jay-Z, who is a minority owner in Iconix, partnered with Pharrell on BBC Ice Cream in 2011. As part of the deal, Iconix took over the manufacturing and distribution of the line.

BBC has collaborated with brands including Timberland and adidas. Next up, it will launch a collection with Happy Socks exclusively at Neiman Marcus in April.
