Video: Rick Ross - 'Carol City'

Rick Ross may have signed a deal with Epic Records, but he’s not done promoting his final Def Jam release Black Market.

The Biggest Bawse puts on for his city in the video for his Beat Billionaire-produced bonus track “Carol City.” In the gritty black-and-white clip, directed by Ryan Snyder, Rozay takes a tour through his ‘hood–from the swap meet to the local high school—with a cameo from another one of Carol City’s own, Gunplay.

In an interview with Billboard, Rozay spoke about his Epic decision. “At the end of the day, I based my decision on reality, and reality was history with L.A. Reid.,” he said. “When I first came to Def Jam, in ’06, all we ever did was win, put up big numbers. He always understood my vision and my creative; every time I came in his office, we sat down and discussed different approaches. We always ended up on the same page and we always won big.”
