A$AP Rocky Responds to Attack in New Zealand
A$AP Rocky was reportedly jumped by three men over a hotel elevator dispute in New Zealand on Wednesday (Feb. 24).
Sources claim Pretty Flacko was boarding an elevator with “some girls” when the three men approached the lift, according to TMZ. Rocky reportedly told the men that there was no more room and the trio began punching him in the face and head while the Harlem rapper “tried to protect the girls.”
Security intervened and helped stop the ambush. The men apparently knew the A$AP Mob leader’s stage name because witnesses say that they yelled “Fuck A$AP” during the incident. Shortly thereafter, police booked a 35-year-old local suspect for assault and resisting arrest.
Rocky, who released a remix to A$AP Mob’s “Hella Hoes” yesterday, later downplayed the incident on Twitter, calling it a “lil scuffle.” To prove he was unscathed, he shared a selfie, noting that he’s “still handsome.”
“LIL SCUFFLE , STILL PRETTY, STILL HANDSOME , STILL FUCCKIN YO BITCH TOO. DEFENSE SQUD DONT TRIP… LOVE 2 AUCKLAND !” he tweeted.
