Miguel Makes 'Waves' on 'Late Late Show'
Miguel is working overtime. Fresh off his performance with Travis Scott on “Ellen,” the R&B crooner brought the “Waves” to “The Late Late Show with James Corden” on Wednesday night (Feb. 24). Backed by his white-clad band and some partygoers, he transformed the stage into Venice Beach and unleashed some funky dance moves while rocking out to his Wildheart single.
He also hit the bar with Corden and discussed his recent performance at his former middle school talent show. “It was incredible. I couldn’t hear myself. It was great,” said Miguel. “The smell is exactly the same though.”
Earlier this year, he proposed to his longtime girlfriend Nazanin Mandi, but he’s leaving the wedding planning up to her.
“I know that she’s been wanting to be married and she had this idea of what it’s supposed to be and I don’t want to taint that, I don’t want to mess it up,” he said.
Miguel will release his five-track “Rogue Waves” remix bundle to digital retailers on Friday featuring Travis Scott, Kacey Musgraves, and Tame Impala. Listen to the Joshua Tree remix below (via Complex).
