Jussie Smollett & Yazz Perform 'Never Let It Die' on 'American Idol'

Let the music live. Jussie Smollett and Yazz hit the “American Idol” stage for a rendition of “Never Let It Die,” a new track from FOX’s hit TV series “Empire.”

Smollett provided potent vocals, opening up with an emotional intro. Then Yazz fired things up, dropping rhymes while high-fiving the crowd. “American Idol” contestants then joined the “Empire” duo on stage for the track’s finale.

Yazz also had some fun off-camera, smiling for a photo with J.Lo.
