New Music: A$AP Ferg feat. Skrillex & Crystal Caines - 'Hungry Ham'
A$AP Ferg is striving. After releasing the Future-assisted “New Level,” his ScHoolboy Q collab “Let It Bang,” and “World Is Mine” featuring Big Sean, the Trap Lord delivers yet another banger off his upcoming album, Always Strive and Prosper. This time, he serves up “Hungry Ham.”
Skrillex and Crystal Caines appear on this cut and, as one might expect, it’s full of energy. Bouncing all around the beat, Fergenstein raps about his block, pigs, and crazy-ass neighbors.
All of this is leading up to the April 22 release of A.S.A.P. This week, Ferg unleashed the album’s tracklisting, confirming appearances by Chris Brown, Ty Dolla $ign, Missy Elliott, Rick Ross, Chuck D, and his own mother.
In February, Ferg spoke about those collaborations and why this project will be his best yet. “I know everybody will love it,” he told Rap-Up TV. “It’s more personal. It’s telling my rags-to-riches story, where I come from, how I wound up in front of y’all right now.”
