2 Chainz and Lil Wayne Tease 'ColleGrove' Sequel
Get ready for the sequel. 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne teamed up for a series of joint tracks on last month’s ColleGrove, and it looks like there’s more in store.
During an interview with Genius, the duo was asked about the possibility of a second installment. “There’s plenty of that shit,” 2 Chainz said, as Lil Wayne nodded along, adding: “Oh, that’s already done.”
They definitely have enough material to make that happen. In fact, Weezy records songs so often that 2 Chainz sometimes gets caught off guard by his collaborator’s quickness.
“He sent me something last night,” Chainz explained. “This ni**a just send you shit [and asks] ‘You get that song I sent?’ Bitch, when? Motherfucker, what song? I fucked around and had four songs in the Drop[box], my ni**a. I wake up and this ni**a did them songs and sent me five more.”
