Ice Cube, SZA, and Vince Staples

Watch Ice Cube, SZA, & Vince Staples Perform Live at Coachella

  /  04.15.2016

Festival season starts now. One of the biggest festivals of the year, Coachella, gets underway this weekend in Indio, Calif., and hip-hop and R&B will play a major part in the festivities.

The desert party kicks off on Friday with the sounds of A$AP Rocky, G-Eazy, DJ Mustard, Rae Sremmurd, and Joey Bada$$. Tonight’s lineup boasts performances from Ice Cube, Run the Jewels, SZA, and Vince Staples. It all comes to a close on Sunday with Sia, Baauer, Alessia Cara, and many more.

There are bound to be some surprises, too. Last year, Drake shocked fans by making out with Madonna and surprising the crowd with Nicki Minaj during Weekend 2 of his headlining set.

Ice Cube may have one of this year’s biggest surprises. “I got some tricks up my sleeve,” he teased earlier this year. “I’m gonna try to bring the members of N.W.A together—come with me on the stage. Give everybody a little history lesson on Ice Cube and N.W.A, Westside Connection, everything I’ve been doing over the years.”

Thanks to YouTube, fans who aren’t able to experience Coachella in person can still watch the live webcasts. This year, there are three channels set to feature various acts from the different stages.
