Alicia Keys Announces New Music, 'SNL' Performance
Major Keys alert! Alicia Keys has announced that new music is finally on the way.
The R&B songstress took to her newly-launched Snapchat account, AKStreetGoddess, to make the big announcement.
“I’ve been dying to share some news with you for awhile,” said Keys in a clip posted Saturday (Apr. 16). “You’ve been asking and asking and it’s finally real. That’s right. I have new music to share with you and I’m gonna be performing in the next couple of weeks.”

Keys is set to showcase her new music on “Saturday Night Live” on May 7. “That’s right,” she added. “I’ll be performing my new music in my city, my hometown city, the best city in the world to me…on an iconic New York stage.”
Alicia has been in the studio with Pharrell and Swizz Beatz working on her first album since 2012’s Girl on Fire.
In addition to unleashing new material, Keys is also gearing up to join “The Voice” as a coach for the show’s upcoming 11th season.
