Tyga is coming to Saks.

The rapper has teamed up with designer Marcelo Burlon on a capsule collection of limited edition shirts, hoodies, and shorts, which will be available online and at Saks Fifth Avenue’s flagship store in NYC on May 12.

Earlier this month, T-Raww, who has collaborated with LA Gear and Reebok in the past, told WWD that this will be a “nice warm-up for introducing me as a designer.” He added that the collection focuses on “L.A. style” and that he’s happy to work with Saks because that’s where he does all his Christmas shopping.

When the Marcelo Burlon x Tyga collection drops at Saks on Thursday, some lucky fans will get an iPhone case, a chance to meet Marcelo Burlon, and an autograph from T-Raww with their purchase.

Burlon, who has been a fan of Tyga since his first album, bonded with him over their similar aesthetic. “So we decided to do something together. It’s a very easy and friendly collaboration,” he said.

The capsule could be the first of many partnerships, including another collection or even an album cover. “When these things start, you never know,” said Burlon.

Eric Jennings, vice president and men’s fashion director, says this is all part of a major initiative for Saks, as they introduce “the hottest young emerging brands” to their stores. Beyond Burlon’s County of Milan and this Tyga collab, Saks is also bringing in Hood by Air, Palm Angels, and Off-White.
