Ciara and Ludacris Talk Vegas, Billboard Music Awards, & Friendship on ‘Kimmel’

Ciara and Ludacris are bringing ATL to Las Vegas. The duo is gearing up to host the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday (May 22) and last night, they opened up about the experience with “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”

“They wouldn’t bring us to the table if they didn’t want what we bring,” Luda said of the show’s prep time. “You might rehearse a little bit, but at the end of the day, it’s about us coming together, making it our own, and just having a lot of fun.”

But being in Vegas will also be fun for the twosome. While Ciara enjoys some of the city’s shows, Luda might be playing in the casinos. During the Q&A, Luda revealed that he once won $30,000 in blackjack, which he spent on a playground for his kids and a strip club visit for himself.

CiCi and Luda also took a trip down memory lane during their Q&A with “Kimmel.” The pair reflected on a throwback Thursday shot of themselves in Cancun back in the early 2000s.

“That was my first time going to Cancun,” said Ciara. “I remember it being very humid and the wind was blowing really strong. I remember that, for some reason, but I also remember that hair.”
