New Music: Jacquees feat. DeJ Loaf - '007'

The game gets shaken, not stirred as Jacquees and DeJ Loaf team up on the James Bond-inspired “007.”

Rich Gang’s Jacquees rhymes about being “Chipper Jones with the bat,” before the Detroit MC spits about being “the shit since” she was drinking out of “sippy cups.”

Although the collaboration comes from Birdman and Jacquees’ just-released mixtape Lost at Sea, the Cash Money chief doesn’t appear on the cut.

Earlier today, Birdman and Jacquees spoke with The FADER about the project. “Just working with Jacquees gives me another energy with music,” said Birdman. “This a special project to me.”

It’s a “special” one for Jacquees too. “It’s a different sound to what my fans are used to, but the music is amazing,” he explained. “It’s legendary because it’s me and Stunna and we goin’ in just us.”

Up next for Birdman are two projects, including his solo album Ms. Gladys and Rich Gang II: Lifestyles, due July 1.
