Video: Boosie Badazz feat. Pimp C - 'Wake Up'

It’s time to “Wake Up.” Soon after unveiling Bleek Mode (Thug in Peace Lil Bleek), Boosie Badazz unleashes a sobering music video for the newest single off his March mixtape Thug Talk.

“Wake Up” features a vocal appearance from the late Pimp C, who warns D-boy MCs to “talk about the bad side of the drug game too.” That’s precisely what Boosie does on the track, delivering harsh realities of the game, from the streets to behind bars.

Directed by Joe Yung Spike, “Wake Up” is stripped down, with a television motif that plays throughout. Meanwhile, the bare backgrounds allow Badazz to make his message clear: “Wake up!”
