Watch Keke Palmer Dance to Drake's 'Controlla' & Desiigner's 'Panda'

  /  06.09.2016

Keke Palmer’s back at it again with another dance video. This time, the actress-singer has unleashed two clips in one, dancing along to Desiigner’s “Panda” and Drake’s “Controlla.”

“Panda” is a gritty clip, in which she rocks a panda-inspired tank top under denim overalls. Inside of an auto shop, Keke and her team rock out to the G.O.O.D. Music signee’s single.

After the grimy clip is done, Keke switches things up for “Controlla,” going from the greasy space down to the beach. Rocking a bikini and denim cutoff shorts, Keke and her friends turn a bonfire s’mores session into a dance party.

Palmer is also gearing up to release new music. “I was trying to think of a way I could keep my fans a part of my [creative] process while also getting prepared for touring, performances, and stuff like that,” she told PAPER.

In the past, Keke has danced to Rihanna and Drake’s “Work” as well as “Down in the DM” and “I’m the Plug.” This time, she picked “Panda” and “Controlla” for a simple reason.

“The culture inspires me,” she said. “These are two of my favorite songs out right now, they are totally different, but both represent the culture. Just like with all my concept videos, it’s about creating on top of what was created. This is what those artists inspired me to do.”
