Ace Hood comes through in the clutch with his latest single, “4th Quarter,” off the upcoming StarVation mixtape.
Produced by Smashdavid and The Mekanics, “4th Quarter” is all about “going for the win.” Ace raps about making it “out the hood” with “swagger so dope, it’s embarrassing.” In the end, he boasts, it’s “nothing but net at the sound of the buzzer.”
Hood was excited to unleash this new joint, saying he’s ready for summer ’16. “Bang my NEW SHIT‼. Summer16 we going for the WIN. 🔥#StarVation Coming ! #MountUp,” he wrote.
StarVation, which follows last year’s Starvation 4, is the fifth installment in Ace’s StarVation mixtape series. The project is slated to feature some big name guests, including Lil Wayne and Rick Ross.
