Snoop Dogg is dropping it like it’s hot.

Following in the footsteps of 50 Cent’s wayward pitch in 2014, Snoop Dogg threw a ceremonial first pitch of his own on Wednesday (Jun. 8) and things didn’t go so well either.

Live from San Diego’s Petco Park before the hometown Padres took on the Atlanta Braves, Tha Doggfather’s first pitch went way wrong by going way off to the right. His catcher couldn’t reach it if he tried.

Immediately, this called back memories of 50, prompting Fox Sports to tweet out: “It wasn’t nearly as bad as @50cent but @SnoopDogg’s first pitch today wasn’t too accurate.”

Snoop may have disagreed with them, retweeting, and telling 50 Cent he’s got him “beat.”

Perhaps Coach Snoop, who has his own youth football league and whose son is an NFL prospect, would fare better on the football field. Or perhaps he’s too busy getting ready to drop Coolaid or rehearsing for “The High Road Tour” with Wiz Khalifa to practice his throwing.

In any case, watch his much-discussed ceremonial first pitch below.
