Wale Performs 'My PYT' on 'The Tonight Show'

  /  06.16.2016

Wale gets his MJ on.

Appearing as a musical guest on “The Tonight Show” on Wednesday (Jun. 15), the MMG spitter pulled off a moonwalk of his own while performing “My PYT,” a track inspired by the King of Pop’s classic “P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing).”

Waltzing onto the stage with his iPhone in hand, Folarin delivered one of his latest singles for the New York crowd with some support from a few members of The Roots. Then, he took the show to Jimmy Fallon’s desk area for the performance finale, where he shouted out MMG’s Self Made 4 and his next solo album SHINE (Still Here Ignoring Negative Energy), due this fall.

The “Fallon” performance also comes on the heels of his surprise Summer on Sunset mixtape announcement. Boasting a trailer by Jerry Seinfeld, the project is slated to arrive Friday.

While waiting on that to drop, catch Wale paying homage to MJ below.
