Ciara and Russell Wilson to Get Married Today
Ciara is about to “1, 2 Step” down the aisle.
The singer and her NFL star fiancé Russell Wilson are reportedly set to be married today at a castle in England in front of 100 of their closest friends and family members, according to TMZ.
But don’t expect to see the ceremony on social media. Guests have been asked to turn over their cell phones, so no one can post on Snapchat, Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook. They will meet at the same location and be driven to the mystery wedding to ensure privacy.
The celebration is already underway. On Tuesday night, the couple hosted a pre-wedding dinner in Liverpool with some of Ciara’s famous friends in attendance including Kelly Rowland, La La Anthony, and Jennifer Hudson.
“The rehearsal dinner was beautiful,” an insider told E! News. “Ciara and Russell couldn’t keep their hands off of each other. The love was strong in the room. Russell and Ciara said a few words to their guests thanking them for coming to Liverpool for this special occasion. Kelly Rowland and La La were helping Ciara beforehand get ready and haven’t left her side.”
The couple, who got engaged in March, began dating in 2015 following Ciara’s high-profile breakup with Future. The two share a son, two-year-old Future Zahir Wilburn.
Before becoming Mrs. Wilson, Ciara headed to Las Vegas to celebrate her bachelorette party and performed at the ESSENCE Festival in New Orleans. She also showed off her moves in a dance video to Fat Joe and Remy Ma’s “All the Way Up.”
