“I used to do this shit to maintain,” he raps. “‘Til I started using 14 percent of my brain.”

In February, Thugga dropped I’m Up and in March, he unleashed Slime Season 3. At the time, video director Be EL Be claimed that Thug was symbolically burying this era and only “dropping albums and hits” going forward.

In April, 300 Entertainment founder Lyor Cohen told Thug that he wanted him to focus more on each song he releases. “This year, I want 10 No. 1 singles,” Thug told him. “If you don’t freestyle and you actually work on the singles and record great choruses and develop your songs,” Cohen replied. “You just record so many songs and leave them like little orphans out there. You have to come back to them.”

“No I don’t,” Thugga responded.

Jeffery is still awaiting a release date.
