Kanye West Honors His Mother on Her Birthday
Kanye West remembers Donda.
On what would have been her 67th birthday, Mr. West showed love to his late mother on Twitter with a touching message from his daughter North West.
“NORI ASKED IF THE AIRPLANE COULD TAKE HER TO HEAVEN TO SEE YOU FOR YOUR BIRTHDAY,” he wrote. “I LOVE YOU MOM.”

West has paid tribute to his mom throughout his career, both before and after her 2007 passing. In 2005, he released “Hey Mama” on Late Registration, a song that celebrates their bond.
He is currently working on a video game entitled “Only One” based on her journey to heaven. The trailer premiered at E3 in Los Angeles last month. Prior to that, he previewed the game at his Yeezy Season 3 show in New York.
