New Music: Beanie Sigel - '#StillPublicEnemy'

  /  07.19.2016

Beanie Sigel is “#StillPublicEnemy” No. 1 on his latest single.

Backed by StreetRunner’s production and Young Guru’s mixing, Beans expresses frustration with fatal shootings at the hands of police.

“It seems they only respect violence,” he raps. “Ten hit, three down out in Dallas / Respect my color / F**k the police / Do you respect my brother?”

The effects of last year’s lung removal are still evident in Beans’ voice as he expresses rage on the track. It’s the same effects heard on his Pusha T collaboration “Keep Dealing.”

It’s unclear where “#StillPublicEnemy” will land, but the song’s SoundCloud post also features the hashtag #BeansIsBack. That could signify a new project is on the way.
