Joe Budden Disses Drake in Hot 97 Freestyle
Joe Budden keeps the disses coming.
After unveiling four Drake diss tracks, the Slaughterhouse spitter unleashes a new freestyle for Funkmaster Flex on Hot 97 that also appears to be aimed at the 6 God. “The top MC rep’s over,” he rhymes. “My ni**a, I keep shooting ’till nothing’s left over.”
From there, Joe continues to discuss his inability to stop dissing Drake. “It’s an issue,” he raps. “Joe make it a big one / Can’t Bell Biv DeVoe your way out of this one.” And that theme continues as Joey delivers some wordplay around his first major record deal. “It’s like I’m back on Def Jam again,” he rhymes. “You ni**as keep being deaf, I just jam again.”
So far, Joe’s been on a fierce dissing spree with a series of shots in the form of “Just Because,” “Afraid,” “Wake,” and “Making a Murderer Pt. 1.”
Drake hasn’t stayed quiet. He mocked Budden onstage and he appeared to diss him on “4PM in Calabasas” and “No Shopping.”
