Ty Dolla $ign teams up with Afrojack on “Gone,” a summer-ready banger that’s full of the rhythmic bounce one would expect from the duo.
“If I give you what you wanted,” sings Ty$. “Can you keep it off the record? / And when I turn on the camera / Tell me can you take direction?”
Afro explained how the collab came together during an interview with The FADER.
“I’ve been keeping up with Ty for a while and have wanted to work with him since his last record dropped,” he explained. “I love pushing boundaries and Ty brings a unique style to the game. It was time for something new—collaborating with him did just that.”
