New Music: M.I.A. - 'Bird Song (Blaqstarr Remix)'

M.I.A. is flying high with her latest single “Bird Song,” produced by Blaqstarr.
“I’m a parrot,” says Maya. “Not a liar, but I sure ain’t a vulture.”
The kazoo-filled track features other references to birds, along with R. Kelly and Nelly-inspired lyrics. “Drop down, get your eagle on,” she raps. “I believe like R. Kelly you can fly.”
The infectious tune, which also features a Diplo remix, is set to appear on M.I.A.’s fifth and final album AIM, due Sept. 9.
The album is also expected to include her “Freedun” collaboration with Zayn Malik, as well as “Borders” and “Go Off.”
