New Music: Usher - 'Missin U'

Usher is reminiscing on his latest release, “Missin U,” a hypnotic new joint off his upcoming album Hard II Love.

The track blends traditional R&B with chopped and screwed hip-hop, offering beat switches and vocal distortions along the way.

“I miss you girl, wherever you are,” he sings. “I miss you already / And I’m just gonna kiss you already / So come on, come on, come on.”

Aside from Hard II Love, Mr. Raymond has also been prepping for today’s release of Hands of Stone, a film in which he plays boxing legend Sugar Ray Leonard. To celebrate the film, he also released the official version of “Champions,” a track made for the movie, but also set to appear on Hard II Love when it drops Sept. 16.
