Gucci Mane to Publish Memoir

  /  09.26.2016

Gucci Mane’s memoir is on the way.

After the “All My Children” MC revealed the news about his upcoming autobiography through Simon & Schuster, the publishing company has announced its support for Guwop.

“Simon & Schuster is thrilled to publish Gucci’s story in his own words,” a S&S spokesperson told The FADER. “Gucci Mane is one of the most influential and revered hip-hop artists in the world. His impact on American music is profound. This will be a major memoir revealing the life and times of the artist and man, chronicling his youth, ascent to the top of the Atlanta trap scene, incarceration, struggles with addiction and personal rebirth.”

Last week, Gucci announced the big news on New York’s Hot 97. “I just did a book deal with Simon & Schuster,” he revealed. “That’ll be coming out at the top of next year. I did a whole autobiography. I wrote it while I was locked up.”

The terms of Zwizzop’s book deal are unknown and a release date for the memoir has not been set.

Earlier today, Gucci also premiered the animated video for his Everybody Looking single “All My Children.” On Oct. 17, he will release his second album this year, Woptober.
