New Music: Nipsey Hussle - 'County Jail'

  /  10.24.2016

Nipsey Hussle heads to “County Jail” for his latest Marathon Monday release, an introspective cut about what it’s like behind bars.

Over production by Mike & Keys and Resource, Nip writes about the effects and emotions that a jail cell can bring about.

“Shit ain’t looking good, still I keep the faith,” he raps. “Sittin’ in this county jail tryin’ to fight my case / Running through these fades / I just miss my daughter face / They bring me out my cell sixty minutes everyday.”

This is just the latest in a strong string of Marathon Monday releases, including “I Don’t Stress” and “Mark My Words” with Rick Ross.

“County Jail” arrives just days before his new son Kross turns two months old.
