Lupe Fiasco Disses Kid Cudi After Drake Comments

It’s a busy day for beef in hip-hop. Hours after Kid Cudi called Drake a “pussy” on Twitter, Lupe Fiasco sent some shots Cudder’s way.

On Friday (Oct. 28), the Chicago rapper unleashed a series of tweets in which he dissed the Man on the Moon.

“Man fuck that ni**a,” he wrote. “What part of ‘rehab’ is calling people pussies and asking for fades?! Rehab is checking your own problems not this shit.”

A Fiasco/Cudi beef is nothing new. Once friends, the two have been at odds since last year when Cudi seemed to criticize Fiasco for selling personalized verses for fans online. Going on “Sway in the Morning” in January of last year, Fiasco offered a threat. “Cudi, let’s settle this,” he said. “Talk to me, before I fuck you up.”

Today, when a fan asked why Cudi asked to fight Drake and not Lupe, Fiasco had a theory. “Cuz security gonna break that up & it’s not gonna happen,” he wrote. “Security wasn’t gonna stop ours hahaha.”

Throughout the Twitter tirade, Lupe retweeted fans who made duck memes of Cudi. “#DuckyTheFade,” he tweeted. “fade ducking is the new wave…I think it deserves a logo.”

Fiasco said he understood that his attacks on Cudi would be seen as “childish” and “petty,” but that it was worth it. “It’s childish and it’s petty,” he said. “But he deserves all of it & more.”

Still, that doesn’t mean the beef will last forever. Asked if he would accept an apology from Cudder, Lupe said it would end their feud. “Yup,” he wrote. “Water under the bridge.”
