New Music: Gucci Mane feat. Young Thug - 'I Told You'

  /  11.02.2016

Gucci Mane and Young Thug unite once again on “I Told You.”

Over a snare-heavy beat by Mike WiLL Made-It and Zaytoven, Guwop rhymes about his ways with the ladies and the music industry. “A ni**a so handsome, these white women say that they want me,” raps Gucci. “They say that I’m country / But I’m No. 1 in the country / There’s no need to tell me / I know that you lil’ ni**as is hungry.”

Meanwhile, Jeffery boasts about being “surrounded by bad bitches” and living “out that cash talk,” before bringing the track title home. “I told you, I told you,” he rap-sings. “These boys didn’t believe him? I showed you, I showed you.”

It’s hard to know exactly what “I Told You” is off, but it’s fair to assume it could land on Gucci’s Dec. 16 release, The Return of East Atlanta Santa.

The two previously collaborated on “Guwop Home” off Gucci’s July album Everybody Looking and “Floyd Mayweather” off Thugger’s Jeffery LP.
