Video: Kalin White - 'Savage'

Kalin White introduces fans to a “Savage” in the video for the second single off his debut solo project Chapter 21.

Premiering exclusively through Rap-Up, the David Camarena-directed clip finds the 21-year-old crooner—half of hip-pop duo Kalin and Myles—at the hands of a drop-dead gorgeous albeit vicious leading lady.

After being stalked in Los Angeles’ Chinatown, Kalin has his hands tied to a chair in a dark room while he reflects on the journey. “So much I’ve been through,” sings White. “Nothing I’ve been through could’ve prepared me for you.”

So what prompted Kalin to put himself in this position? “These days it seems normal for men to be the ones to blame in relationships,” he explains. “I wrote this song about a lil’ shorty I was talking to and she ended up being a savage. Who knew? In this video, you’ll see the roles switched up on me.”
