Drake's 'Views' Certified 4x Platinum

Drizzy has four huge reasons to celebrate.

On Monday (Dec. 5), Drake continued an already-impressive 2016 run with the announcement that Views has officially been certified 4x platinum by the RIAA.

The project, released May 6 by Republic, Cash Money, and Young Money, was certified gold, platinum, and double platinum on June 9. By Aug. 3, the LP went triple platinum and on Dec. 1, it earned its latest milestone.

It’s been a year full of achievements for the 6 God, who was recently crowned Spotify’s most streamed artist of 2016.

Back in September, Apple Music also presented Drake with a plaque for being the first artist on the platform to reach over 1 billion streams. In November, Views also became one of only six albums to land in the top 5 on the Billboard 200 for 26 straight weeks.

And Drake’s not done with 2016. He’s planning to drop his More Life project this month.
