New Music: Nicki Minaj - 'Ain't Gone Do It'

  /  12.07.2016

If you’ve ever wanted to collaborate with Nicki Minaj, now might be your chance. The rapper-mogul is giving fans a chance to rhyme with her on “Ain’t Gone Do It,” a fresh release from her new video game app, “The Empire.”

Over pop-leaning production, Queen Nicki rhymes about her fashionista ways. “I’m draped in McQueen,” she raps. “Balmain on my jeans / Ask Givenchy and Marie Claire.”

After handling the first verse, in which she also boasts about an ESPN shoot with Kobe Bryant and a crib in Beverly Hills, Nicki leaves the second verse open for fans using her app.

“Nicki Minaj: The Empire,” now available on iOS and Android, was created over a year-long process by Glu Mobile, the company behind the popular “Kim Kardashian: Hollywood” app.

“Ain’t Gone Do It” is a Vine-inspired track originally slated as a “possibility” for 2014’s The Pinkprint. Now, it works as part of the game that allows fans to create their own bars. Eventually, high-scoring fans will receive concert tickets to watch Nicki in action.

An example of the track with guest verses from game users can be heard below.
