New Music: The Lox feat. Gucci Mane & InfaRed - 'Secure the Bag'
Major key alert! The Lox takes inspiration from DJ Khaled on “Secure the Bag.”
After a motivational intro from the Snapchat King, the Yonkers trio of Jadakiss, Styles P, and Sheek Louch unload the new single off Filthy America… It’s Beautiful, which also features Gucci Mane and InfaRed.
“Money right,” rhymes Jadakiss over a head-knocking instrumental. “They glad that it’s pure / Nothing else matters, as long as the bag is secured.”
Guwop comes through with a menacing verse of his own. “It’s Gucci Mane and D-Block and we really sell dope,” he rhymes. “But don’t quote me bitch, ’cause I might slit ya damn throat.”
The Lox also recently unveiled the music video for “Don’t You Cry” on BET. Surrounded by dark imagery and dressed in all black, the trio tortures their nemesis with gasoline, a spiked bat, and a lighter.
Earlier this month, The Lox announced their signing to Roc Nation as well as a new album, Filthy America… It’s Beautiful. Due Friday (Dec. 16), the project features Mobb Deep, Fetty Wap, and Dyce Payne.
