Readers' Choice: Best Albums of 2016

  /  12.19.2016

The readers have spoken. The polls are closed and the results are in for Rap-Up’s first-ever Readers’ Choice poll.

Today, we unveil the Readers’ Choice for Best Album, a category that was highly contested in a year full of big name blockbusters and rising star surprises.

After topping our editors’ list, Queen Bey reigns again. Beyoncé’s acclaimed album LEMONADE towers over everyone at the top of the list. As one reader, Spazz, declared: “2016 was the year of Beyoncé hands down.”

Coming in second place is Rihanna’s ANTI, which yielded one of the year’s biggest smashes, “Work.” And rounding out the top 3 is RiRi’s “Work” collaborator Drake and his record-setting album Views.

Check out the top 20, featuring Kanye West, J. Cole, Travis Scott, and more, below.
