Video: DJ Mustard feat. Nipsey Hussle & RJ - 'Ridin' Around'
DJ Mustard is “Ridin’ Around” L.A. in the video for his latest banger, but the superstar DJ isn’t rollin’ alone.
Instead, Mustard enlists his 100 Summers’ signee RJ and West Coast vet Nipsey Hussle for the song’s visual, which takes their Cold Summer collaboration’s title to the streets.
Zig-zagging through traffic in a caravan of fancy drop tops, Mustard, Nip, and RJ celebrate success in the video. “You make it from nothing,” raps Hussle, while sporting a Seattle Mariners jersey. “Such a wonderful feeling / My clothes expensive / My hoes appealing.”
The West Coast slapper keeps the Seattle love rolling as RJ rocks a Seattle Super Sonics jersey as an ode to Shawn Kemp. “You start to lose friends when they know that you’re winning,” warns Mr. L.A. “They see that we’re winning.”
“Ridin’ Around” is a single off Mustard’s 2016 release Cold Summer, which also featured “Want Her” with YG and Quavo, “Don’t Hurt Me” featuring Nicki Minaj and Jeremih, and the RJ solo cut, “Main Bitch.”
