Kodak Black Talks Lil Wayne Feud in Masked 'Breakfast Club' Interview

  /  01.13.2017

After challenging Lil Wayne to a fight, Kodak Black throws on a disguise.

Sporting a ski mask, the Pompano Beach rapper spoke about his Weezy feud with “The Breakfast Club” on Friday (Jan. 13). “You know who I am,” he said, seemingly talking to Tunechi. “Nicki Minaj know who I am.”

In the past, Weezy has denied having knowledge of Kodak, 21 Savage, Lil Uzi Vert, and Lil Yachty. “I swear to God I didn’t know you were saying people’s names just now,” he responded when asked about the artists. “I just do my own thing.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Kodak spoke about his pending criminal sexual misconduct charge. “I take the bitter with the sweet,” he said. “I don’t even like the name of that charge, but I gotta take the bitter with the sweet. I want to enjoy the fruits of the game so even whatever, however, you know what I’m saying?”

On himself: “I am a clone. I’m 2Pac resurrected.”

On E-40: “Even if he said [broccoli] first, [he’s] probably like 50 years old. I made that thing hot though. He made it cool. I made it hot.”

On Wale: “Wale wrote me. At least he took his time out to write a ni**a…Nobody else ain’t write.”

On past crimes and faith: “One time I had this little carjacking charge. I was guilty but I won trial. So, that’s why I be having a lot of faith. My God always looks out for me.”

On his name: “I be living for the moment. I can explain it that way. That’s some fly shit…I ain’t no cameraman but I’ll shoot a ni**a.”

On mentors: “If Master P ever holla at me, I’ll holla at him as well.”

On his mother: “That’s my lady. I’m like her husband. I’ve never seen her with a boyfriend.”

On his forthcoming album: “When I drop this album, painting pictures, I’m fin’a have Kirk Franklin on that. I’m fin’a throw him on there because ain’t no artists, ain’t no rappers doing that.”
