David Guetta Taps Nicki Minaj & Lil Wayne for New Single

  /  01.27.2017

Following what’s been a winning combination, David Guetta and Nicki Minaj are joining forces yet again. And this time, the duo has enlisted Lil Wayne for the French DJ’s next single.

In an exclusive interview on Facebook (via HHNM), Guetta revealed the big news. “My next single is featuring Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne,” he said. “This is exclusive. I’ve never said this.”

The collaboration follows “Turn Me On,” “Where Them Girls At,” and “Hey Mama” from Nicki and David, songs that all charted in the top 15 on the Hot 100.

“We have a really good combination with Nicki,” said Guetta. “Every time we make records, they’re really incredible and very successful. I think she’s very, very special and we work really good together so it’s exciting. Plus, we have Lil Wayne on top of that. It’s pretty big.”

Weezy is also a past Guetta collaborator. The two worked together on the Chris Brown-assisted “I Can Only Imagine” and Madonna’s “Revolver.”

When asked by a fan about the track, Nicki responded, “Fkn outta here yo.”

According to Minaj, she’s also filming the music video for her Major Lazer and PARTYNEXTDOOR collaboration “Run Up” today. Plus, she has a special treat for fans on her Nick Jonas-assisted single “Bom Bidi Bom” from the Fifty Shades Darker soundtrack.

“I put a special surprise on the #50Shades verse that will make my core fans VERY happy,” she wrote.
